Chuka Soba Shurai (Daimon) 中華そば 集来
A Shiba-Daimon office-district favourite since 1948, known for hand-made noodles, tanmen and gomoku soba near Zojo-ji and Tokyo Tower.
Tanmen: ¥950
About
Shurai has been cooking near Daimon since 1948, making it one of the oldest ramen shops in Minato Ward. It is known for hand-made noodles with a pleasantly irregular, chewy bite, served in a clear shoyu chuka soba, a vegetable-packed tanmen and gomoku soba with mixed toppings. In summer, hiyashi chuka draws crowds. The shop caters to the office workers of Hamamatsucho and Daimon, so lunch is busy and fast. It is a convenient stop on the way to Zojo-ji Temple and Tokyo Tower.
