Akihabara Gachapon Kaikan 秋葉原ガチャポン会館
The original capsule-toy specialist, open since 2002 in an Akihabara backstreet: around 500 densely packed machines with a cult reputation for rare and oddball lines that the big chains don't stock.
About
Long before gacha halls went viral, Akihabara Gachapon Kaikan was the place collectors came for capsules. The shop is tight and cluttered in the best Akiba way, with roughly 500 machines stacked two high and refreshed constantly with new series, including niche otaku lines, retro characters and the strange novelty capsules that make the rounds on social media. It feels less polished than the Bandai flagships but much more like old Akihabara, and it's a short detour from Chuo-dori.
