Yahataya Park is unusual in that much of the big Maruzen Intec Arena Osaka (Osaka Municipal Central Gymnasium) is buried under a grassy mound, so you can walk on its roof. Around it are lawns, trees and play areas used by local families. It is on the Chuo Line between the city centre and Osakako, so it is easy to stop off on the way to the Kaiyukan aquarium.
