About

Once the world's tallest Ferris wheel when it opened in 1997, the Tempozan wheel takes about 15 minutes to make a full rotation. On clear days the views stretch from the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge to Kansai Airport. Its lights change colour to forecast the next days weather. A few gondolas have fully transparent floors and walls for the brave.
