About
Completed in 1995, Namihaya Bridge snakes in an S-curve across the mouth of the Shiranashi River between Taisho and Minato wards. Its 250 m central span is among the largest for a girder bridge in Japan, and the high deck gives wide views over the harbour, cranes and the city skyline. Its steep humped profile has earned it the nickname 'camel bridge'.
Highlights
