About

Ajinoya has served okonomiyaki in Namba since 1965. Its batter is whipped light with plenty of yam and cabbage, and the house special is stuffed with pork, squid, shrimp and beef tendon. The staff grill everything in the back or at the table and serve it piping hot, which makes it easy for people who do not want to cook themselves. The second-floor dining room is cosy and the English menu is clear. It is a few minutes from the Dotonbori crowds but noticeably calmer.
