About
Yojiya was founded in 1904 selling toothbrushes (yoji), and later became famous for aburatorigami, oil-blotting papers made with gold-leaf beating paper, loved by Kyoto's geiko and actors. The Gion shop on Shijo-dori sells blotting papers, skincare, lip balm, cosmetics brushes and handkerchiefs printed with the iconic logo. Several Yojiya cafes in the city serve latte art with the face.
