About
The 55-room hotel occupies the Yasaka Kaikan, a Registered Tangible Cultural Property on the grounds of the Gion Kobu Kaburenjo theatre, plus a new north wing. Rooms mix Oya stone, cedar and silk, some with tatami. Dining includes the 10-seat French restaurant Ren, all-day Yasaka, a Kyoto outpost of the Old Imperial Bar and a rooftop lounge; there is also a spa, indoor pool and thermal baths.
