Nakamura Tokichi's Kyoto Station cafe brings the Uji teahouse's best-known sweets to the main station: matcha parfaits stacked with cream, mochi, jelly and ice cream, warabi-mochi, matcha lattes and seasonal limited parfaits. The cafe sits on the third floor of JR Kyoto Isetan, while a small 'NEXT' takeaway counter by the West Exit area sells soft-serve and drinks for people in a rush. It is the easiest place to tick off the matcha parfait if Uji is not on your itinerary.
