About

Kataguruma ("piggyback") opened in 2014 a little west of Kyoto Station and serves a rich, creamy tonkotsu broth seasoned with salt rather than soy, letting the pork flavour shine, with tender chashu and thin noodles. It is open every day, including holidays, and holds a Tabelog rating near 3.7. The Kyoto Railway Museum and Umekoji Park are a 10-15 minute walk away.
