About
Ichikawa Sekisho was the Edo-period checkpoint guarding the river crossing into the Kanto plain; today a marker stands on the embankment. From the top of the levee, shoot west across the wide Edogawa at sunset with the Tokyo skyline on the horizon, or catch the Sobu Line trains crossing the river bridge nearby. Grassy banks and a cycling path make it a relaxed evening spot.
