About
The Gyotoku Wildlife Sanctuary is a protected wetland created on reclaimed land in the Gyotoku area. The observation building, nicknamed "Ainesuto", has large windows and telescopes facing the ponds and reed beds where herons, egrets, cormorants and wintering ducks gather. It is a calm, unusual stop in a city otherwise known as a commuter suburb.
