The Red Brick Warehouses were built as government customs storehouses in the early 20th century and reopened in 2002 as a shopping and cultural complex. Building 2 holds most of the shops and restaurants, while Building 1 hosts exhibitions and performances. The plaza between them stages seasonal events such as the Christmas market and Oktoberfest.
