About

Yebisu beer was first brewed here in 1890, and the neighbourhood and its station are named after the brand. The former Museum of Yebisu Beer closed in 2022 and reopened in April 2024 as YEBISU BREWERY TOKYO, now with a small brewery producing beer on site for the first time in about 35 years. The free exhibition zone covers the brand's history with vintage posters, bottles and brewing equipment, while the paid YEBISU the JOURNEY guided tour (about 45 minutes) explains the brewing process and ends with a tasting. The taproom serves Yebisu beers including site-brewed specials. It sits at the back of Ebisu Garden Place, near the Chateau-style restaurant and the TOP Museum photography museum.
