About

Keyakizaka-dori is the 400 m zelkova-lined street running down from Roppongi Hills, lined with luxury boutiques. From the upper end the road falls away so that Tokyo Tower stands perfectly framed at the vanishing point, with the trees on both sides. The view is good all year, but it becomes famous every winter when Roppongi Hills lights the trees with hundreds of thousands of LEDs (usually from early November to Christmas): snow-white and blue lights stretch toward the orange tower in one of Tokyo's most-shared night photos. Expect crowds and staff guiding people along the pavement in December.
