Sukiyabashi Jiro Roppongi すきやばし次郎 六本木店
Two Michelin stars (2026). Jiro Ono's younger son Takashi runs this Roppongi Hills counter: the Jiro school of sushi with a warmer pace and more realistic booking.
About
Takashi Ono, Jiro's second son, opened this branch in Roppongi Hills in 2003, and in the 2026 Michelin Guide it holds two stars. The style is the family's: pristine Edomae nigiri with no side dishes, firmly seasoned rice and toppings sourced through decades-long relationships with market brokers. Compared with the Ginza original, the mood is more relaxed and the chef is famously engaging with guests, including foreign visitors. For many travellers this is the realistic way to taste Jiro-lineage sushi.
