About

Azabudai Hills opened in November 2023 with a large landscaped Central Square at its heart, surrounded by low pavilions with undulating green roofs designed by Thomas Heatherwick and overlooked by the 330 m Mori JP Tower. Because the site sits on high ground just west of Shiba, Tokyo Tower appears close and tall above the gardens, framed by trees, planted roofs and, in early spring, early-blooming cherry blossoms. The square is free and open to the public; in winter it hosts a Christmas market and illuminations, and the glass towers around it catch the sunset. It is ten minutes' walk from Kamiyacho Station and pairs naturally with teamLab Borderless underneath.
