Taito HEY Hirose Entertainment Yard (HEY)
Akihabara's shoot-'em-up shrine: floors of vintage arcade cabinets, Cave, Toaplan, Psikyo shmups, retro fighters and beat-'em-ups, where locals play one-credit runs in silence.
About
HEY (Hirose Entertainment Yard), run by Taito, is the opposite of a crane-game palace: dense rows of old-school candy cabinets dedicated to STG bullet-hell shooters, classic fighting games and '80s and '90s titles you'll rarely see elsewhere. The top-tier players attract quiet crowds of spectators. It's also a location-test venue for new arcade releases. Ground floor is prize games; head upstairs for the real treasure.
