A free window lobby on the 11th floor of Shibuya Hikarie overlooking the station, the Scramble and the bus terminal, a local shortcut to a great Shibuya night view without the Shibuya Sky ticket.

About

Hikarie's 11th floor is the entrance lobby of the Tokyu Theatre Orb, and its huge windows face west over the whole tangle of Shibuya station. You see the trains sliding in and out, the bus terminal, the Scramble crossing, the new towers of the redevelopment and, on clear evenings, the outline of Shinjuku beyond. There are a few benches, it is open long hours and it is free. Locals use it to kill time before a show or a date; very few tourists know it exists.
