About
Sakuragaoka Park spreads across the wooded Tama Hills above Seiseki-Sakuragaoka, the town that inspired Whisper of the Heart. Trails rise and fall through oak and cherry woods to lookout points, and the white Former Tama Seiseki Memorial Hall commemorates Emperor Meiji's visits to the area. It is quiet on weekdays and good for a half-day walk.
