About
The Tama Yokoyama Path runs along the ridge that separates Tama City in Tokyo from Kawasaki and Machida, a route mentioned in Nara-period poetry. The mostly flat, well-marked path passes woods, viewpoints and small history markers, and on clear days looks out over the Tama New Town hills toward the Okutama mountains and Mt. Fuji. It is easy to walk in sections between stations.
