About

The original Hotel Okura (1962) was mourned by designers worldwide when it was rebuilt, and The Okura Tokyo, reopened in 2019, recreated its modernist lobby and its beloved bar. Orchid Bar keeps the soft lantern light, low leather chairs and calm service that made the old room a favourite of diplomats and writers. Classic cocktails, a strong Japanese whisky list and hotel-grade bar snacks make it a refined, quiet stop near Toranomon and the US Embassy.
