About
Opened in 1986, Suntory Hall was Tokyo's first vineyard-style concert hall, with seats rising around the stage. Herbert von Karajan called it a 'jewel box of sound'. It hosts the leading Japanese orchestras and most visiting world orchestras, plus chamber music in the Blue Rose small hall.
