K's Cinema is a small single-screen arthouse a few minutes from Shinjuku Station, programming independent Japanese films, Asian cinema and documentaries plus themed festivals such as Indian and cult film weeks. Time Out Tokyo describes it as a welcome antidote to the nearby multiplexes. Foreign films are normally screened in the original language with Japanese subtitles (look for 字幕 on the schedule, not 吹替 = dubbed); Japanese films are usually shown without English subtitles.
