About
Founded in the Edo period and named after the 'snake bone' alley it stands in, Jakotsuyu is a neighbourhood bathhouse with genuine natural hot spring (kuroyu, amber-black water from underground) at regular sento prices. Inside: hot and cold baths, an electric bath, a sauna, a painted mural, and a small open-air bath in a rock garden, rare for a central Tokyo sento. It welcomes visitors and permits tattoos. Five minutes from Senso-ji.
