About

Hongo Reservoir Park is a small Bunkyo ward garden laid out on the roof of a water-supply reservoir, so it sits above the surrounding streets. The western half is a formal rose garden with about 300 bushes of some 53 varieties around raised beds, at their best in mid May and mid October, while the rest of the park is a quiet landscaped garden. Below is the free Tokyo Waterworks Historical Museum, which covers Edo's aqueducts.
