About
Before the Daishi Bridge opened in 1939, a ferry carried pilgrims across the Tama River from Haneda to Kawasaki Daishi. A marker on the cycling path recalls it. From the embankment you get a wide, open view of the river, the Daishi Bridge, and aircraft over Haneda, all with warm sunset light from the west. The grassy riverbanks are great for wide landscape shots.
