Go up to the rooftop garden of the Rise shopping centre next to Futako-Tamagawa Station and head for the west-facing side. The frame looks out over the Tama River toward Kanagawa, and on clear winter days Mount Fuji can appear on the horizon behind the sunset. Late afternoon to sunset is the time, especially from November to February when the air is clearest. It is part of a shopping centre: handheld only, keep to the paths and do not step into the planting.
