About

Opened in 2008 in a converted shopping arcade, Ebisu Yokocho packs some 20 eateries into one covered corridor: oysters, yakitori, oden, sashimi, horse meat, teppanyaki, nabe and natural wine, with stools spilling into the walkway. It is a modern take on the yokocho and draws a young after-work crowd who hop between stalls and share tables. It is lively and packed on Friday nights, and many stalls keep going until the small hours. Each shop has its own menu and bill.
