Over 200 JR lockers: the biggest cluster is by the escalators at the 1F West Exit (around 100 units, 12 large, plus reservable ToLocca lockers), another is outside the 2F East Gate toward Ebisu Garden Place, and a small bank is inside the East Gate.

About

Ebisu is one of the better-stocked Yamanote stations. Outside the gates on 1F at the West Exit, four lockers flank the escalators: about 57 small, 33 medium and 12 large units taking coins, 1,000-yen notes and IC cards, plus a dark-blue section of ToLocca lockers that can be booked in advance on a smartphone and are priced differently. On 2F, turning right out of the East Gate toward the Ebisu Skywalk and Garden Place, three units line the passage with about 68 small, 7 medium and 7 large lockers. The units on the left side take 100-yen coins only, the right side also takes IC cards. Inside the East Gate, next to the escalator down to platforms 1 and 2, a small bank has 17 small lockers and just 1 medium and 1 large. The Hibiya Line station has lockers on B1 toward the Naka-Meguro end.

Tips

• Reserve a ToLocca locker on the way if you are arriving on a busy weekend
• Some East Gate lockers take 100-yen coins only; the right-hand side of the passage accepts Suica/PASMO
• JR East lockers roll over to a new day at 2:00 am and can be used for up to 3 days; after that, bags go to the station's lost-property office
