About
Founded by Ichiro Sekiguchi, who worked here until he was over 100, Café de l'Ambre serves nothing but coffee, carefully brewed by nel drip (flannel filter) behind a dark wood counter. The menu lists dozens of single origins, including 'old beans' aged for years, and the signature Blanc et Noir 'Reine des Amber': sweet, condensed, iced coffee topped with milk in a champagne coupe. A true kissaten time capsule in modern Ginza.
Highlights
- Flannel-drip coffee made one cup at a time
