Body & Soul has been one of Tokyo's core jazz clubs since the 1970s and now occupies a basement in Minami-Aoyama. Leading Japanese musicians play standards and original sets most nights in a low-lit room where every seat is close to the band. The kitchen is better than usual for a jazz club, and the menu is available in English.
