Blue Bottle Coffee Kiyosumi-Shirakawa Flagship ブルーボトルコーヒー 清澄白河フラッグシップカフェ
Blue Bottle's first café outside the US, in a converted Kiyosumi-Shirakawa warehouse with a roastery: the anchor of Tokyo's coffee district.
About
When Blue Bottle opened here in 2015, people queued for hours and the quiet canal-side neighbourhood was rebranded as Tokyo's 'coffee town'. The flagship (renovated in 2019) is an airy warehouse with tall ceilings, a working roastery behind glass and a long bar for pour-over and espresso. The district around it is full of independent roasters (Allpress, Arise, The Cream of the Crop), plus the Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo and Kiyosumi Garden.
Highlights
- Warehouse café with a visible roastery
