About
Go up to the rooftop of Asakusa EKIMISE, the shopping building over Tobu Asakusa Station by Azuma-bashi, and head for the east side. Tokyo Skytree rises across the Sumida River, the Asahi Beer buildings sit to the right, and Tobu trains curve out of the station onto the river bridge below. Sunset and blue hour, when the Skytree lights come on, are best. It is a shopping centre rooftop: no tripods, follow the opening hours, and keep play areas and seating clear.
