About

Arakawa Shizen Koen covers the top of the Mikawashima water reclamation centre, so the whole park sits a level above the surrounding streets. It has fishing ponds, lawns, an insect observation garden, sports facilities and a traffic park where children can ride bicycles and go-karts on mini roads with real signals. Cherry trees make it a local hanami favourite, and the Toden Arakawa tram stops right outside. Free.

Ride the Toden Arakawa Line tram to get there.
