About

Ikebukuro is Tokyo's other otaku hub, skewing towards female fans, and Animate's main store anchors it. Rebuilt and fully reopened in 2023, it spans floors of new manga and light novels, Blu-rays, character goods for every current series, exclusive bonus items (tokuten) with purchases, collaboration cafés, an event hall and a small theater for screenings and talks. Otome Road, lined with butler cafés and doujinshi shops like K-Books and Lashinbang, starts just around the corner.
