Akihabara Station is served by the JR Yamanote, Keihin-Tohoku and Chuo-Sobu lines, the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line and the Tsukuba Express terminus, and its Electric Town Exit opens straight onto the anime, game and electronics district. TX exit A1 leads to the JR transfer, A2 to the east-side bus and taxi plaza, and A3 to the Yodobashi Camera building. The Tsukuba Express runs to Asakusa in about 5 minutes and on to Tsukuba for Mt. Tsukuba.
