About

Radio Kaikan opened in 1962 selling radio parts, and its 2014 rebuild became a vertical mall of otaku shops right by Akihabara Station's Electric Town exit. Floors are devoted to scale figures and garage kits, Volks dolls and hobby goods, trading cards, anime goods and second-hand figures, with gacha machines tucked in. It's the most efficient single building to sample Akihabara.
