About
Waden runs small covered motorboats (up to 12 people) from beside its restaurant in an old townhouse, cruising the picturesque central stretch of the Hachiman-bori moat and turning near the old Hoffman kiln chimney. The ride takes about 35 minutes; passengers sit on tatami after removing shoes. Another operator, Shinmachi, offers hand-rowed boats by reservation.
