About

Founded in 1923, Yamazaki is the birthplace of Japanese whisky. Guided tours of about 80 minutes visit the mash room, stills and aging warehouse and end with a tasting; English tours run once a day. Tours and even museum-only visits require advance reservation, and slots are allocated by lottery.
