About
Covering about 500 m by 400 m on Mt Miyoshi (183 m) in northern Takatsuki, Akutagawayama Castle was where Miyoshi Nagayoshi ruled the Kinai in the 1550s. Earthworks, baileys and stone walls survive among the trees. Continued 100 Fine Castles; national historic site since 2022.
