About

The colonnaded stone entrance was originally part of the Osaka Mint built in the early Meiji period and is one of Osaka's oldest Western-style structures. It was later reused as the front of the Sakuranomiya Public Hall and today forms the facade of a restaurant and wedding venue. The classical columns are a favourite backdrop, especially when the riverside cherry trees bloom.
