About

Bunraku was born in Osaka in the 17th century, and this theatre near Nipponbashi is its home stage. Regular seasons (around January, April, June-August and November) feature full-day programmes split into parts, with English earphone guides. Single-act tickets are sometimes available for a shorter taste, and the small exhibition room explains how the puppets are made.
