About
Dotonbori Bridge carries Midosuji boulevard across the canal and was built in 1936 as part of Osaka's first urban plan together with the Midosuji subway, whose foundations it shares. At 43.6 m wide and 38.2 m long, the city describes it as the widest single bridge in Osaka. From its sidewalks you look east along the canal toward Ebisubashi and the Glico sign.
