Watahan was founded in 1897 and is run by the fourth generation. It now focuses on preparing and selling seafood such as fugu, hamo and oysters, with small packs of sashimi such as wild sea bream, kampachi and blood clams. Fugu sashimi and fugu-fin sake are especially popular.
