About
Kyotanba sells roasted chestnuts and other produce from the Tanba area northwest of Kyoto, with demonstration sales at the front. Its signature "Yakipon" chestnuts are roasted in an improved old-style puffing machine, with no additives, and come out of the shell easily. Peeled Tanba chestnuts are sold in autumn, and the black soybean tea is roasted with a special pressure method.
