Kyoto Tower Sando opened in 2017 in the lower floors of Kyoto Tower, facing the station's Karasuma exit. The basement food hall has counters serving Kyoto ramen, sushi, beef, sake and craft beer, popular for casual dinners. The ground floor has Kyoto souvenirs and sweets, and the second floor hosts workshops such as making food samples and incense. It is a convenient meeting point when staying around the station.
