Run by Fukujuen (est. 1790), this tea pavilion by the Uji River offers a self-brew 'tea ceremony set' of sencha, matcha or gyokuro with a sweet, plus thin matcha, double tea soft serve and cha-soba. Fukujuen's Uji Tea Kobo workshop with stone-mill and tea-making experiences is a few minutes away.
