About

Randen Arashiyama is the most central of Arashiyama's three stations, opening onto the main street a minute from Tenryu-ji and the Togetsukyo approach. Coin lockers stand outside the ticket gate, and the Arashiyama Station information counter can also take bags. Combine with the station's Kimono Forest light poles and the foot bath on the platform. Capacity is limited, so in peak season JR Saga-Arashiyama or Hankyu Arashiyama are good backups.
