Wadaura Beach is popular with families because its waves are usually gentle and rocks at either end hold small sea creatures. Neighbouring Hanazono Beach draws surfers, and an observation deck at the end of the beach is a sunrise spot. There are outdoor showers and toilets but no beach huts or rental shops.
